Overheating of your vehicle by various means is the most common issue on vehicles in the blistering heat. This is because your vehicle is under extra strain to keep cool. Strain on the engine, cooling system, and your air conditioning. Ensuring you maintain your vehicle as much as possible, allows you to prevent these issues and at the very least catch them early on. Keep an eye on your vehicles temperature gauge, to ensure overheating isn't an issue.

Vehicle's Battery

With high temperatures comes high fluid evaporation rates, resulting in your batteries lifespan shortening and struggling to continue operating properly. If you see signs of your battery struggling to start up your vehicle and operate as it should, this needs to be rectified as soon as you find out. Tyre Pressure

This is a common issue that not many people consider but all the more important to keep on top of keep yourself and other road users safe on the road. Underinflating your tyres can lead to them being more prone to bursting, especially in the heat. Additionally over-inflating your tyres is easier to occur, when heated air expands. To ensure your tyres are perfect, keep an eye on them and check the pressure regularly; It only takes a few minutes!
